Woman at the Well:
John 4:4-29
4 Now he(Jesus) had to go through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.John 4:4-29
7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”
17 “I have no husband,” she replied.
Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”
19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”
21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
The Disciples Rejoin Jesus
27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”
28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”
Many Samaritans Believe
39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers.42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”
The Samaritan Woman ran in to her savior that day. She probably was doing her regular routine. Going about her day like she always does and then here comes Jesus. A strange man talking about new life. She probably thought her life would never change. Going through the same drama she always goes through. I said drama because Jesus made it a point to tell her she had been with five different men and the one she was with she wasn't even married to. Wow, he Just busted her out! Who knows why she was married so many times and why she was with a man who was not her husband. We don't know that, but we do know that having different relationship can carry weight. In time it can make you burden down.
Like the Samaritan Woman many people have been in different relationships and because of it they are walking around wounded. Not realizing the root of the problem is from that pain. A wound from those relationships that did not work out, or one relationship that did not work out.

Jesus told her I give you living water. Now go get your husband. She said, "I don't have a husband." Jesus said, "your right." See, the man she was with couldn't come and give her what Jesus could give her. When we get in relationship with Jesus he changes our spirit. Our spirit comes alive. She was physically tired of having to continuously draw the water. Jesus wanted to show her, Hey! What I have for you is way better than what satisfies your flesh.
What we do to satisfy the flesh last for a moment. When his spirit is downloaded it is life Changing. The men in her life couldn't change her spirit and give her worth again. The religious Jews couldn't give her worth again. But she needed relationship. She needed Jesus to Change her from the inside out. She needed living water. And this living water will flow any where she is. No matter the condition. No matter the place or time. When His spirit lives on the inside His spirit gives life and liberty.
I must make this example. Different men and women are sleeping around as a result of pain. People may not out right say it but I really believe most people today believe they cannot date someone without having sex with them. Why else would anyone give there precious body over to someone who has not committed the rest of their life to them. It has to be because in secret people feel this is how to make it work. This is what dating couples do who love each other. I would bet that most having sex have not even committed to loving the person they are having sex with. Why would we except this for ourselves when God says we are worth so much more. Let me tell you why!!! Stuck in the place of pain.
How does having sex with a guy friend mean that one is stuck in a place of pain? We'll we all have a need for companionship and acceptance. And if not careful one can mistake companionship with the short term feelings one gets with sex. We all deserve more than just a feel good relationship we deserve someone to be there committed to us in our most tragic times. The pain of lonliness often keeps people stuck in relationships that are not good for them and hazardous to their spiritual growth.

"We all experience pain because of the sinful world we live in. Often times we allowing the things we have experience and have gone through to tell us what we are worth. We all have gone through so much in life. We have to let the pain draw us to Jesus. It is very easy to let life shortcomings keep us from turning to God. It is kind of like we get stuck in a time warp, allowing all the bad mistakes we have done and mistakes other people have done keep us from our best potential. We can very easily stay babies. Stuck in a place of constant mental debilitation. Unable to walk, talk, move, decide, grow as God intended for us to Grow. I do not want to be spiritually blind. Constantly making the same mistake because of being stuck in a place of pain."
I knows that there is more." One may say to themselves, "I don't like this but "IF this were different," or "IF that happened," "I would do this or be like that." NO! God made us. He defines us. His standard should be our standard. That's how we live a life with purpose. One full of Peace. Love and Joy. By Walking in who God says we are. And Valuing what he Values. The stuff that happen to us and in our surroundings do not define us. God alone defines us.
See Jesus suffered too. He went through a lot of pain. He suffered a lot of loss. But He was determind to do his fathers business. He died that we might have life. And he came that we might have life and that more abundant. He didn't come into the world to condemn the world but that through him we all might be saved(John 3:17).
We don't have to throw our life away on useless pleasures that don't last and don't have eternal value... It's too many people in the world who needs us to tell our story. It's enough people smoking, partying, getting drunk, fighting and hating each other. It's Enough of fatherless children wondering why my daddy don't love me. Enough people recklessly sleeping around. enough people, who are selfish and self centered. The divorce rate is high enough, no more split homes and children saying Why don't my mom and dad stay together. Enough off all that... This world need people to stand up for what is right. Take their pain and let it push them to your next level in God. Let it be the stepping stone to help other people be all they were created to be in God and that is FREE... Even if these things have been like this in life ... It does not have to stay that way. It doesn't have to be like that for our children and our childrens, children. Don't be like every body else. Lets Be Who God designed us to be and That is Followers of Christ.

He will be our comfort and strength in times of trouble.
Like the samaritan woman God is offering us living water. Life! A new walk, a new talk, greater hope and purpose for living. With one encounter with Jesus the Samaritan Woman life changed. God used her to touch the lives of men for his glory. Instead of before, having relationships with men that was fleshly, unfruitful, unsatisfying and degrading. He used her right where she was. He changed the condition she lived in. He use her to bring men to christ.
We have that freedom today. Lets Live on purpose! Allow God to use us YOU for his Glory. No more temporary living! No more wasting our lives on what satisfy our flesh and sinful nature! God has so much more for us...
He has Eternal Life!!!!
