This song is a perfect way to start. It is my desire to inspire young people to be all God has called them to be. "Gold" by Britt Nicole does a good job sending the message. We are living in a world today that sends a false truth about beauty and what being truly beautiful is. The word of God says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in Gods image. What does God look like? LOVE!!! ... What is Love?????
According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, does not boast, is not proud, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrong, does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth, always protects, always hopes, always perseveres, LOVE never fails...
So if this is how God looks and he created us in his image. He created us to reflect his LOVE... The story of the dinner party is an excellent example of the Love God has for us and the LOVE he wants us to extend toward others...
22 "The servant reported back, 'master I did what you commanded- and there's still room.'
What matters to God is our character. He wants us to be sold out to HIM. None of the stuff we earn or gain on this earth can get us to heaven. There is no amount of good works that can get us into heaven. We can't by a ticket there with our great success. The only way is Jesus. He is the only way... God has extended an invitation to us through his son Jesus. He knows we are all so imperfect that there is no amount of things we can do that can perfect us in this life time... There is nothing or no one that can prepare us for such a Holy place like Heaven.... Only Jesus...
Like the man in the story of the party, God has prepared a place for us. The life that we have will come to an end. All we acquire on this earth will not matter when we stand before almighty God. All that will matter is did we receive the invitation of his son Jesus. Heaven is a beautiful place and God is preparing it for each of us. He wants each of us to receive His Son Jesus as our Lord and Savior. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that all through Him we might all be saved.
We have the choice to turn away and say no that's not important right now... I have this to do or I have that to do. Or we can find out about who Jesus is and discover the Love God has toward each of us and the love He has imparted in us to extend to others...
Give Him your life today. Receive the invitation of new life God gives through his son Jesus. Allow God to show you how beautiful you truly are to Him.... You are not beautiful because the color of your hair, the shape of your eye, or the clothes you wear.. You are beautiful because you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. You were made to display his Glory and majesty... You were created to give him praise!!! You were created to extend His LOVE!!! Get to know him by reading the word of God. Read the book of john discover what Jesus did for you. Receive the free gift of life he has for YOU! Not one like this world but one of peace and freedom.... One full of LOVE!!!
John 14:2-3
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a]if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

15 ........ "How fortunate the one who gets to eat dinner in God's kingdom!" 16-17 Jesus followed up. "Yes. For there was once a man who threw a great dinner party and invited many. When it was time for dinner, he sent out his servant to the invited guests, saying, 'come on in; the food's on the table.
18 "Then they all began to beg off, one after another making excuses. The first said, 'I bought a piece of property and need to look it over. Send my regrets.' 19 Another said, 'I Just bought five teams of oxen, and I really need to check them out. Send my regrets."
20 "And yet another said, 'I just got married and need to get home to my wife.' 21 The servant went back and told the master what had happened. He was outraged and told the servant, 'Quickly, get out into the city streets and alleys. Collect all who look like they need a square meal, all the misfits and homeless and wretched you can lay your hands on, and bring them here.'
22 "The servant reported back, 'master I did what you commanded- and there's still room.'
23-24 "The master said, 'Then go to the country roads. whoever you find, drag them in. I want my house full! Let me tell you, not one of those originally invited is going to get so much as a bit at my dinner party."
At this dinner party Jesus is talking about, the man throwing the party was not interested in his guests material success. He just wanted to bless them. He wanted to feed them and fill them up. But they were so busy gaining and being all content in their own gain and success, they didn't have time to receive the love he was extending to them. So he said go Get me some people who are cast aways, rejected, those who don't fit in. Go get them, the ones who are not all self righteous and puffed up about what there doing. The people not to busy to receive a blessing. Get me some common folk. Those people who everybody thinks ain't nothing and ain't gonna be nothing. Go get them!!!
See the world displays a different picture to us all together. The image the world displays is that your of lesser value if your not wearing certain clothes. If your house is not like one of the houses on extreme make over home addition. You have to have the latest, television, cell phones, healthiest food, Clothes, nicest body. You have to be up on the latest trends in all areas of life to the point that people will begin to measure themselves and there worth on material gain rather than on who God says they are and what his word say we all should strive for and be like...
